Life Story

Grace Nyambura Kariuki was born in Murang'a County in 1948. A devoted mother of five, she dedicated her life to nurturing her family and community. She co-founded the Kangema Women's Self-Help Group, empowering over 200 women through micro-enterprise. Known for her warmth, legendary chai, and unwavering faith, Grace touched everyone she met. She passed peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchildren on April 12, 2026.
